The “Estate Disina” was born in 1983 thanks to effort and will of young people team that making themselves available to the community
they divided the town into quarters making a real show that mixed each other culture, history and tradition.
The local games, among which we remember ballroom dance match, five-a-side football competition, bicycle race, this games happened until
1986 and were stopped for more than 20 years, probably because of the dangerous and disloyal competition that there were among the quarters
and it dulled the real goal: the pure and sound entertainment.
After 26 years, in 2012, the small Diso wanted to try again and a new volunteers team gave back life to Estate Disina obtaining a great success
among citizenry that was very enthusiast.
Beacuse to different reasons the new-team of volunteers didn’t want to try again so it passed the ball into the hand (after tre years) of Consulta
Giovanile that in 2015 showed up to the community prommoting a new event: “Estate Disina Revival 2015”; the young people put effort into give back
life ancient traditions that belong to the small Diso in order to join and juice up the town. A lot of colors and rhythms associated with citizens
for two weeks with local games that have seen three quarters (Centro Storico, Fumari, Municipio) compete with each other through a pure and sound
competition that makes everyone happy.
Among the games we remember the classic and timeless “tug of war”, the usual track and field meeting, the traditional race of “mangiatore di cozze
piccinne” (the person who can eat more snails in a specific time frame) and the long-awaited water games that saw the attendance of both children
and adults that together they took a dip in the carefree and fun.
The event ended with a night dedicated esclusively to smile and good humor with the attendante of guests from show businnes who have cheered the
audience with their likeable cabaret.
